RESEPI " ASAM AYAM TUMIS " SD2...

Preparation & Cooking Time

WHAT YOU NEED:
~~ A (finely blended)
15 pieces Dried red chilies, soaked

1 ½ tsp MAGGI® Belacan Powder

120g Shallots

2 stalks Lemon grass

3 cloves Garlic

2cm Galangal

1cm Turmeric root

500g Chicken, cut into pieces

1 tablespoon cooking oil

1 tablespoon Assam paste(tamarind pulp) diluted with 1 ½ cups of water and strained

1 stalks Wild ginger flower, finely sliced

2 stalks Lemon grass, crushed


MAKE IT :

A.Heat oil, stir-fry wild ginger flower and lemon grass until aromatic. Add ingredients A and Stir-fry till fragrant.
B.Add in chicken pieces and toss till well coated with spices.
C.Pour in tamarind juice and bring to boil. Simmer over low fire for about 15-20 minutes or until chicken is tender. Season with sugar and salt and then remove from heat.
